5 Treats To Make With Oreos

Oreos are one of those treats that we here at Sweet Society don't eat too often (hey, it's hard to make it over to our Oreo stash when we have fresh baked treats constantly coming out of the oven. But when we get a craving... it's all over. The chocolate cookie, coupled with that incredibly delicious vanilla creme center, is a combination we can't refuse. We even made these Oreo Cupcake Owls during one such battle with our Oreo addiction.
And we know not everyone is like us - that there are people out there who also simply prefer the cookie OR the creme. Like Physicist David Neevel who made his own Oreo separator machine:
So whether you prefer the cookie, the creme, or both (like us), we wanted to share a little Oreo love with 5 treats you can make with Oreos. And if you have your own favorite Oreo Cookie recipe to share, you can add it to Sweet Society by sharing the link here.

1) Oreo Truffles

A friend passed along this extremely tasty, extremely chocolatey, and extremely addicting recipe to us a few years ago, and it was love at first bite. It still amazes us that three simple ingredients can make such a delicious treat. We guess when the ingredients are Oreos, cream cheese, and chocolate, it's hard for it not to be good. 2) Oreo Pops

This is one of those desserts that you might see and wonder... why didn't I think of that?!? Chocolate covered Oreos on a stick are just that, an Oreo on a popsicle stick, dipped in chocolate. After dipping, you can dress the Oreos up with sprinkles, Oreo crumbs, candy bits... really anything your heart desires. Get the Oreo Pop recipe and instructions from Makoodle.com.

3) Oreo Cupcakes

Most people love eating Oreos as well as eating cupcakes, so shouldn't it make sense to combine the two? We long for rich, creamy frosting, speckled with Oreo pieces, swirled to perfection on top of our cupcakes...YUM. Get the Oreo cupcake recipe and instructions from Annies-Eats.com.

4) Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Picky Palate was really onto something when she shared her original recipe for Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies. If you haven't tried to make these yet, then what are you waiting for!?! This treat is an extremely indulgent one, so get your glass (or gallon) of milk ready... you may need it. Get the Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookie recipe and instructions from Picky-Palate.com.

5) Cookies And Cream Oreo Bark

A two ingredient dessert, and one of the ingredients involves Oreos? We're in! One of our favorite things to gift during the holidays is bark. It's easy to make, tastes great, and has so many potential variations of flavor. Our new favorite is this Oreo cookie bark, with white chocolate goodness and the chocolaty crunch of Oreos.
