1 cup + 2 tbsp (255g) unsalted butter - room temperature
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
1 cup (220g) light brown sugar
2 (100g) eggs
2 tsp (8g) vanilla extract
2 cups (340g) mini chocolate chips
Sprinkle of sea salt

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies With Sea Salt Step-By-Step Directions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).

2) Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt together into a mixing bowl. Mix dry ingredients together with a whisk and then set aside.

3) Add the butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (or mixing bowl if using a handheld mixer). Mix on medium speed for five minutes until creamy.

4) Next, with the mixer on low speed, add the vanilla. Then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing for about 30 seconds or until each egg is incorporated.

5) Add the dry ingredients in two additions with the mixer on low speed. Mix just until incorporated, then fold in chocolate chips.
