Crispy City
  • Comments
Our Crispy City is made from, you guessed it, Rice Krispies Treats. Since these treats can be molded and cut into near anything, we used them to create a smaller table level cityscape, one that was as delicious as it was simple. But just be aware that this city will be quick to crumble, not by evil-doers or earthquake, but by someone's rumbling stomach.

Tips
For The Crispy City
Rice Krispies Treats are easy to make and tasty to eat. We wanted to add some height to the table and used Rice Krispies Treats to build our Crispy City. Cutting the different shapes and sizes of the buildings is easy with a sharp knife, once the Krispies cool. And once you melt your chocolate, just set your City up in the fridge to how you want them to stand so the chocolate sets correctly
Use different color sprinkles to add some color and interest to your Crispy City. Just do your best not to get any sprinkles on the bottom of the treats since otherwise your city will have a hard time to stand on its own
Presentation
Ideas For The Crispy City
We presented our Crispy City on a 15 x 7-1/4 inch rectangular white plate from Sur La Table. We especially love to use these plates in our Experiences as the clean and simple lines tend to complement any dessert table. We recommend getting the set of 3 for this Experience since we incorporated the set in the table
A simple printable dessert label can go a long way to completing the presentation. We offer free printable dessert labels, along with the rest of the Superhero Experience Printables, that you can download here. We recommend using cover weight paper which you can find at Paper-Source. We usually use pure white, but feel free to choose a color that works for you
