Burlap Vases
  • Comments
With some basic mason jars and burlap scraps, dress up plain ol' mason jars into beautiful (and fitting) rustic vases. Secure the burlap with jute cord, ribbon that matches your theme, and/or personalize it to go with your event. Fill these rustic vases with flowers like we did, or even try desserts on a stick. They are a perfect touch to add to any dessert table, but fit especially well with our Rustic Experience.

Tips
For The Burlap Vases
We used leftover burlap from our table runner and cut pieces big enough to fit around our pint mason jars. We secured the burlap to each jar by tying a piece of jute cord around the rim of the jar. We then filled each with a self-made floral arrangement
It's always good to add some height to a dessert table. Try to find some flowers in the arrangement that are taller than others, which will add dimension to the table

Ideas For The Burlap Vases
Place your burlap vases on either side of the table for symmetry. If you're not having a cake as the focal piece, one option is to place your burlap vases in the middle, displaying the rest of the desserts around it
A simple printable dessert label can go a long way to completing the presentation. We offer free printable dessert labels, along with the rest of the Rustic Experience Printables, that you can download here. We recommend using cover weight paper which you can find at Paper-Source. We used Luxe Blush Cover Paper from Paper Source for these printables. We also used a Doily Lace Edge Puncher from Paper Source to add embellishments to our dessert labels
