Jack Daniel's Whiskey Bacon Caramel Bark

If you ever had the thought that you just weren't a dessert bark kinda person, think again! This is no ordinary bark - this is a marshmallow, whiskey, caramel, bacon, and chocolate delight! Emphasis on the delight, because you will be so happy that you went to the bark-side, it might even be a bark-changing experience (ok, we're stopping).

Tips
For The Jack Daniel's Whiskey Bacon Caramel Bark
We topped our Jack Daniel's Whiskey Bacon Caramel Bark with bacon (obviously), but feel free to substitute the bacon (wait, what?) for something else, or leave it plain. Bottom line is: follow your personal preference and what you think your guests will enjoy the most... which usually will mean bacon :)
Keep the bark in the refrigerator until party time. Since it contains caramel and marshmallows, it can get a little soft after sitting at room temperature. If you do keep it out, no worries, just have some napkins nearby
When cutting the bark use a large knife. Tap the chocolate with the knife and then press and cut in one fluid motion. Bark is meant to be presented in all sorts of shapes and sizes, so you can't go wrong cutting it in all different directions
Presentation
Ideas For The Jack Daniel's Whiskey Bacon Caramel Bark
We presented our Jack Daniel's Whiskey Bacon Caramel Bark on a 7-inch square white plate from Sur La Table. We especially love to use these plates in our Experiences as the clean and simple lines tend to complement any dessert table. We recommend getting a variety of sizes if you tend to host parties often
The mustache paper that we used as a backdrop for the Experience, can also be used as a liner for your plates as well. Cut the paper to the dimensions of the plate and watch how it makes your desserts pop - adding more dimension to your table
A simple printable dessert label can go a long way to completing the presentation. We offer free printable dessert labels, along with the rest of the Jack Daniel's Whiskey Experience Printables, that you can download here. We recommend using cover weight paper which you can find at Paper-Source. We usually use pure white, but feel free to choose a color that works for you
