2 Hearts Cake
  • Comments
A plain white frosted cake is sometimes just as beautiful as an ornate, colorful one. It's understated, yet still has a fancy border with colorful sprinkles to tie it all in with our color palette. And this double-barreled cake towers over the rest of the desserts, making it the grand centerpiece. We tie in the theme by placing one yellow and one purple heart on a stick to symbolize the happy couple.

Tips
For The 2 Hearts Cake
In order to frost a double-barreled cake, we use this tool. We find that it is tall enough to smooth out our whole cake in one fell swoop. Keep in mind that the bottom of this tool doesn't have a straight edge which can get a little tricky. As long as you keep the tool straight while smoothing, you can get a flawless look. Practice makes perfect
