Honey Jars
  • Comments
These Honey Jars, although not really filled with honey, make for another good prop for the Bee Experience, although involving just a little more DIY than the Honey Pot above. A simple combination of mason jars, fabric, and jute cord, along with some colored water, can make for some pretty convincing jars of honey.

Tips
For The Honey Jars
We used a couple different size jars and some water with a bit of food coloring to get a nice amber color that resembled honey. Along with some yellow and cream fabric at a local craft store that we cut into squares, and a little bit of jute cord, the Honey Jars only took a few steps to complete
If you run into any trouble keeping the fabric on the jar, use a rubber band around the fabric securing it to the lip of the jar, then tie the jute string

Ideas For The Honey Jars
Feel free to place the Honey Jars all over the table, or in groups like we did. Fill them all the way up, just half-way, or even less. Experiment and see what you like the best
